The Grand Canyon in western Henan is a national AAAA scenic spot, located in the Guandaokou town, Lushi county, Sanmenxia, where Henan province, Shaanxi province and Shanxi province meet each other. There waterfalls flies from high and streams zigzag among rocks while deep pools stay clear and peaceful.You can paddle along the scenic canyon, enjoying the excitement of drifting. Main places of interest, altogether more than 20 spots, includes Taichu Palace, Daosheng Palace, the Taoist health-preserving park, the building for settling classics, Zhanzi Pavilion, Jiming Pavilion, Beilin(a large collection of ancient stone tablets), the waxwork museum, the museum, Guan Lou (a pavilion used to look into distance to inspect situation, usually located at the entrance of a pass), the ancient roads of Hangu Pass and so on.

Swan Lake, the national urban wetland park is located in the  ecologist zone between the east and west urban areas of Sanmenxia, covering an area of 8850 acres with 6150 acres of land and 2700 acres of waters and tidal-flats. The central scenic spots includes white swan viewing area called Double-Dragon Lake, Shanzhou Ancient City and  Yanhuang ecologist forest. It is a natural scenery tourist spot containing elements of ecology,culture and human geography.

The Yellow River Dam in Sanmenxia , located in the northeast of Sanmenxia, is adjacent to Shanxi in the north, Shaanxi in the west, regarded as＂gold triangle＂in western Henan. This project started in April, and it only took 4 years to basically finish the main body of the dam. This dam is the first large-scale dam on the main stream of the Yellow River, also called ＂the first dam on the Yellow River＂.

Ganshan national forest park lies about 20 kilometers to the south of Sanmenxia, city with the total planning area of 78.6 square kilometers and forest coverage rate amounting to 98%. It boasts rich animal and plant resources and a unique landscape. Five scenic spots have been completed :the forest recreation area, red leaves viewing area, water recreation area, the butterfly valley scenic area and Ganshan culture area. The park possessed unique mountains, secluded valleys, beautiful woods and charming scenes. And Dew Peak,the highest, is 1886.6 meters above the sea level, with eighty-four peaks pointing to the sky. The undulate mountainous under the peak are lofty and magnificent.And the two ravines,the Blue Dragon and the Black Dragon, run into the Yellow River.

The Two Dragon Ravines scenic spot is located in the southwest of Lushi county, with an area of 50 square kilometers. It is a large-scale comprehensive tourism scenic spot which integrates natural landscape ,cultural landscape, sightseeing, leisure hub, entertainment and business into a whole. The scenic area is located in the east of Qinling Mountains and the source of Luohe river, which goes across the basin of both Yellow River and the Yangtze river. Its Unique geographical location and long history bred beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural custom. 

Seven famous sightseeing spots,the small sanxia valley in Luohe, the colorful karst caves, the peach valley, the crabs brook, the military cultural relics of King Li Zicheng who overthrow the Ming dynasty and established a regime called Dashun,and the No.1 inland northern beach and the most beautiful night view in central plain named the moon shining with the stars, formed a group of rare magnificent views whose valley can contend with Nine-village valley and whose water with Lijiang river.

7.the  Museum of Guo State

The Museum of Guo State is a thematic museum built on the tomb site of Guo state of western zhou dynasty included in the national key cultural relics protection units, covering an area of 100,000 square meters. As one of the national secondary museum and AAAA level scenic area,it integrates cultural relics exhibition, sites display, garden landscape. There are five basic exhibition halls: The Guoguochunqiu hall ( hall of the Guo’s cultural history ), the GuoBao XieYing exhibition hall ( hall of representative cultural relics excavated from the tomb of Guo) , the Liangjifengyu hall(hall of cultural relics in Mrs.GuoJi’s tomb) and The CheLinMaXiao exhibition hall (hall of Guo’s  chariots pits ) and the guojunmizong hall (hall of GuoJi’tomb sites). 

The tomb site of Guo is a large-scale,in-order,well-preserved state cemetery in the LiangZhou period with completed grade.Among them ,the monarch tomb of both GuoJi and GuoZhong were rated respectively in 1990 and 1991 as one of the top ten national archaeological discoveries. And in April 2001,the cemetery of Guo state has been selected into the collection of China's best hundred archaeological discovery of the 20th century.
